Suy Niệm: “Nếu bạn đi khắp cùng trời cuối đất, bạn sẽ gặp những dấu vết của Thiên Chúa. Nếu bạn đi thẳng vào cung lòng bạn, bạn sẽ gặp chính Thiên Chúa.” Nhiều người đã gặp thấy Ngài nhờ chiêm niệm suy tư. Nhưng con người không thể biết hết về Thiên Chúa, cũng không thể mô tả cho đủ về Ngài. Có những thiếu sót, vụng về và đôi khi sai lạc. Ai có thể giúp ta thấy được khuôn mặt thực của Thiên Chúa? Ai sẽ chỉ cho ta con đường để gặp gỡ Ngài? Phải là Đấng ở nơi cung lòng Thiên Chúa, Đấng ấy là Đức Giêsu, Ngôi Lời nhập thể. Nhờ Đức Giêsu mà mầu nhiệm Thiên Chúa được vén mở, nhờ Ngài mà chúng ta biết có một Thiên Chúa duy nhất trong ba Ngôi Vị là Cha, Con và Thánh Thần. Ba Ngôi khác nhau nhưng là cùng một Thiên Chúa.
Thiên Chúa là Tình Yêu, Ngài duy nhất nhưng không đơn độc. “Ta và Cha là một” (Ga 14,10). “Ta ở trong Cha và Cha ở trong Ta” (Ga 16,15). Tình yêu khăng khít giữa Cha và Con là Thánh Thần.Trong niềm hạnh phúc sung mãn, Ba Ngôi đã dựng nên con người giống hình ảnh mình v à muốn đưa con người đi vào hiệp thông với Thiên Chúa. “Đến với Chúa Cha, nhờ Chúa Con và trong Chúa Thánh Thần”: đó là hành trình thiêng liêng của mọi Kitô hữu. Chúng ta cần ý thức về sự hiện diện của Ba Ngôi ở trong ta. “Ai yêu mến Thầy thì sẽ giữ lời Thầy và Cha Thầy sẽ yêu mến người ấy và Chúng Ta sẽ đến và cư ngụ nơi người ấy” (Ga 14,23). “Cha sẽ ban cho các anh một Đấng Phù Trợ khác để Ngài ở với các anh luôn mãi” (Ga 14,16). Chúng ta cần có tương quan riêng với từng Ngôi! Chúa Cha, Đấng hằng làm việc để duy trì vũ trụ, con người. Chúa Con, Đấng cứu chuộc nhân loại bằng hy sinh mạng sống. Chúa Thánh Thần, Đấng thánh hoá và dẫn dắt Giáo Hội.
Sống mầu nhiệm Chúa Ba Ngôi là sống hiệp thông và chia sẻ, là ở lại trong Tình Yêu vì “ai ở trong Tình Yêu thì ở lại trong Thiên Chúa và Thiên Chúa ở lại trong người ấy” (1Ga 4,16). Mỗi ngày chúng ta làm dấu nhiều lần trên thân xác: “Nhân danh Chúa Cha, Chúa Con và Chúa Thánh Thần”. Ước gì chúng ta cũng biết in dấu Chúa Ba Ngôi trên cuộc đời ta, trên thế giới chúng ta đang sống. Chúng ta đã được chịu Phép Rửa nhân danh Chúa Ba Ngôi, nhưng làm Phép Rửa cho muôn dân vẫn còn là ước mơ Đức Giêsu chờ ta thực hiện.
Cầu Nguyện: Giữa một thế giới đề cao quyền lực và lợi nhuận, xin dạy con biết phục vụ âm thầm. Giữa một thế giới say mê thống trị và chiếm đoạt, xin dạy con biết yêu thương tự hiến. Giữa một thế giới đầy phe phái chia rẽ, xin dạy con biết cộng tác và đồng trách nhiệm. Giữa một thế giới đầy hàng rào kỳ thị, xin dạy con biết coi mọi người như anh em. Lạy Chúa Ba Ngôi, Ngài là mẫu mực của tình yêu tinh ròng. Xin cho các Kitô hữu chúng con trở thành tình yêu cho trái tim khô cằn của thế giới. Xin dạy chúng con biết yêu như Ngài, biết sống nhờ và sống cho tha nhân, biết quảng đại cho đi và khiêm nhường nhận lãnh. Lạy Ba Ngôi chí thánh, Xin cho chúng con tin vào sự hiện diện của Chúa ở sâu thẳm lòng chúng con và trong lòng từng con người bé nhỏ.

“Chính Chúa là Thiên Chúa, chứ không có Chúa nào khác”

Ông Maisen nói cùng dân chúng rằng: “Các ngươi hãy tìm hiểu những thời xa xưa trước kia, từ khi Thiên Chúa tác thành con người trên mặt đất, từ chân trời nầy đến chân trời nọ, có bao giờ xảy ra một việc vĩ đại như thế này chăng? Có bao giờ người ta đã nghe thấy những việc lạ lùng như vậy chăng? Có bao giờ một dân tộc đã nghe lời Thiên Chúa từ trong lửa phán ra như các ngươi đã nghe mà còn sống chăng? Có bao giờ Chúa đã dùng sự thử thách, dấu chỉ, điềm lạ, chiến tranh, cánh tay quyền năng mạnh mẽ và những thị kiến khủng khiếp, để chọn lấy cho mình một dân tộc giữa các dân tộc khác, như Chúa là Thiên Chúa các ngươi đã làm tất cả các điều đó trước mặt các ngươi trong đất Ai-cập chăng? Vậy hôm nay các ngươi hãy nhận biết và suy niệm trong lòng rằng: “Trên trời dưới đất, chính Chúa là Thiên Chúa, chớ không có Chúa nào khác.” Hãy tuân giữ các lề luật và giới răn mà hôm nay chính ta truyền dạy cho các ngươi, hầu cho các ngươi và con cháu mai sau được hạnh phúc và tồn tại trên phần đất mà Chúa là Thiên Chúa sẽ ban cho các ngươi”. Đó là Lời Chúa.
Đáp Ca :Tv 32: 4-5, 6, 9, 18-19, 20 & 22
Phúc thay dân tộc mà Chúa chọn làm cơ nghiệp riêng mình.
1- Vì lời Chúa là lời chân chính, bao việc Chúa làm đều đáng cậy tin. Chúa yêu chuộng điều công minh chính trực, địa cầu đầy ân sủng Chúa.
2. Do lời Chúa mà trời xanh được tạo thành, và mọi cơ binh chúng đều do hơi thở miệng Người. Vì chính Người phán dạy mà chúng được tạo thành, chính Người ra lệnh mà chúng trở nên thực hữu.
3. Kìa Chúa để mắt coi những kẻ kính sợ Người, nhìn xem những ai cậy trông ân sủng của Người, để cứu gỡ họ khỏi tay thần chết và nuôi dưỡng họ trong cảnh cơ hàn.
4. Linh hồn chúng con mong đợi Chúa, chính Người là Đấng phù trợ và che chở chúng con. Lạy Chúa, xin đổ lòng từ bi xuống trên chúng con, theo như chúng con tin cậy ở nơi Người.
Bài Đọc 2: Rm 8:14-17
“Anh chị em đã nhận tinh thần nghĩa tử, trong tinh thần ấy, chúng ta kêu lên rằng: Abba, Lạy Cha”. Bài trích thư Thánh Phaolô Tông Đồ gởi tín hữu Roma. Anh chị em thân mến, ai sống theo Thánh Thần Thiên Chúa, thì là con cái Thiên Chúa. Vì không phải anh chị em đã nhận tinh thần nô lệ trong sợ hãi nữa, nhưng đã nhận tinh thần nghĩa tử; trong tinh thần ấy, chúng ta kêu lên rằng: “Abba”, lạy Cha. Vì chính Thánh Thần đã làm chứng cho tâm trí chúng ta rằng: “Chúng ta là con cái Thiên Chúa. Vậy nếu là con cái, thì cũng là những người thừa tự: nghĩa là thừa tự của Thiên Chúa, và đồng thừa tự với Đức Kitô: vì chúng ta đồng chịu đau khổ với Người, để rồi chúng ta sẽ cùng hưởng vinh quang với Người”.

Scripture:Romans 8:14-17
14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the spirit of sonship.When we cry, “Abba! Father!” 16 it is the Spirit himself bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
Meditation: How can we know who God is? Jesus revealed to his disciples the great mystery of our faith – the triune nature of one God in three persons and the inseparable union of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus’ mission is to reveal the glory of God to us – a Trinity of persons – God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – and to unite us with God in a community of unbreakable unity and everlasting love. The ultimate end, the purpose for which God created us, is the entry of God’s sons and daughters into the perfect unity of the blessed Trinity.
Jesus, the Son of God, reveals the Father’s true nature
The Jews understood God as Creator and Father of all that he made (Deuteronomy 32:6) and they understood the nation of Israel as God’s firstborn son (Exodus 4:22). Jesus reveals the Father in an unheard of sense. He is eternally Father by his relationship to his only Son, who, reciprocally, is Son only in relation to his Father (see Matthew 11:27). The Spirit, likewise, is inseparably one with the Father and the Son.
Through baptism we share in the life of the Trinity
The mission of Jesus and of the Holy Spirit are the same. That is why Jesus tells his disciples that the Spirit will reveal the glory of the Father and the Son and will speak what is true. Before his Passover, Jesus revealed the Holy Spirit as the “Paraclete” and Helper who will be with Jesus’ disciples to teach and guide them “into all the truth” (John 14:17,26; 16:13). In baptism we are called to share in the life of the Holy Trinity here on earth in faith and after death in eternal light.
Clement of Alexandria, a third century church father, wrote:
“What an astonishing mystery! There is one Father of the universe, one Logos (Word) of the universe, and also one Holy Spirit, everywhere one and the same; there is also one virgin become mother, and I should like to call her ‘Church’.”
We can have a personal relationship with the Father and the Son through the gift and working of the Holy Spirit
How can we personally know the Father and his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ? It is the Holy Spirit who reveals the Father and the Son to us and who gives us the gift of faith to know and understand the truth of God’s word. Through the Holy Spirit, we proclaim our ancient faith in the saving death and resurrection of Jesus Christ until he comes again. The Lord gives us his Holy Spirit as our divine Teacher and Helper that we may grow in the knowledge and wisdom of God. Do you seek the wisdom that comes from above and do you willingly obey God’s word?
Jesus’ departure and ascension into heaven was both an end and a beginning for his disciples. While it was the end of Jesus’ physical presence with his beloved disciples, it marked the beginning of Jesus’ presence with them in a new way. Jesus promised that he would be with them always to the end of time. He assured them of his power – a power which overcame sin and death. Now as the glorified and risen Lord and Savior, ascended to the right hand of the Father in heaven, Jesus promised to give them the power of his Holy Spirit, which we see fulfilled ten days later on the Feast of Pentecost (Luke 24:49 and Acts 2:1-4). When the Lord Jesus departed physically from the apostles, they were not left alone or powerless. Jesus assured them of his presence and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our mission is to proclaim the love of God our Father who saved us through his Son, Jesus Christ, and who unites us in his Holy Spirit
Jesus’ last words to his apostles point to his saving mission and to their mission to be witnesses of his saving death and his glorious resurrection and to proclaim the good news of salvation to all the world. Their task is to proclaim the good news of salvation, not only to the people of Israel, but to all the nations. God’s love and gift of salvation is not just for a few, or for a nation, but it is for the whole world – for all who will accept it. The gospel is the power of God, the power to forgive sins, to heal, to deliver from evil and oppression, and to restore life. Do you believe in the power of the gospel?
“May the Lord Jesus put his hands on our eyes also, for then we too shall begin to look not at what is seen but at what is not seen. May he open the eyes that are concerned not with the present but with what is yet to come, may he unseal the heart’s vision, that we may gaze on God in the Spirit, through the same Lord, Jesus Christ, whose glory and power will endure throughout the unending succession of ages.” (prayer of Origin, 185-254 AD)
